Australia managed to defeat England in their Super Six match, with captain Hugh Weibgen scoring a century and leading his team to a total of 266. England were chasing a target of 266 when rain hit, causing a delay of over two hours. When they resumed, they were given a revised target of 215 runs in 24 overs.

Bangladesh’s Jishan Alam and Ariful Islam scored half-centuries and helped their team win by five wickets.
